Ingredients:
1-1/2 Cups Flour
1-1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
3 Tbsp Shortening or Butter
1/2 Cup Milk
4 Whole Peaches, peeled and sliced
3/4 Cup sugar

Directions:
Crust: Sift together flour and baking powder. Work in 1 tablespoon of the shortening, and when mixed add milk.
Mix peaches, sugar, and remaining shortening (2 tablespoons). In bottom of baking dish invert a cup, around this arrange peaches, and over all place dough patted out to about 3/4 of an inch thick. Bake for 40 minutes in moderate oven until crust is brown.
